What is Microsoft Compliance Centre
Compliance centre is Microsoft’s solution to managing your information to ensure that your organisation can manage its information effectively, ensuring that you comply with legal and regulatory standards. Not only that but it assists in ensuring that your information management policies are complied with. Compliance centre has wide ranging solutions to assist organisations in having effective controls in place and works seamlessly with Microsoft’s security centre solution.
Compliance Centre is broken down into four main areas:
- What information is stored by the organisation
- Who needs access to what information
- Discovery and respond
- Regulatory compliance
What do you need for M365 Compliance Centre
You need to ensure that they have the right information management framework in place if you are to get all the benefits out of compliance centre. You will also need to ensure that you have the right licensing agreement with Microsoft which is Microsoft 365- E3 or E5 licenses.
